Is There A Christian Solution To Racial Problems? w/ Dr. George Yancey

On March 10, 2016, Ratio Christi TAMU was privileged to host Dr. George Yancey, a sociologist from the University of North Texas, to discuss racial problems in the United States and specifically what fellow Christians can do to reach racial reconciliation. If you enjoy this lecture and would like to participate in further discussions on racial unity, I have two recommendations for you. First, check out Dr. Yancey’s book Transcending Racial Barriers which details each of the models he discusses and defends his own “mutual obligations” approach to racial harmony. Second, check out BCS Be the Bridge, which is an organization dedicated to raising awareness and promoting racial unity among the residents of Bryan/College Station through open dialogue and education.
